Strayer University is committed to expanding its quality degree offerings to give today’s students an advantage in tomorrow’s competitive work force. In response to student requests, beginning in the Spring Quarter, the University will offer a new Master of Science in Human Resource Management (MSHRM) degree, as well as new concentrations in both the Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Education programs.
The MSHRM program teaches students how to align HR principles and practices with organizational goals and strategies in order to deliver successful business results. It prepares graduates to become leaders in their organizations’ human resource departments in any area of HR operations including talent management, compensation and benefits, and learning and organizational development.
Strayer University is proud to announce that the Society for Human Resource Management, the world’s largest HR management association, has acknowledged that the MSHRM curriculum aligns with guidelines they have developed for degree granting programs. The new MSHRM program joins Strayer’s BBA-HRM and MBA-HRM as programs recognized by SHRM for providing professionally-relevant skill sets that are used in today’s human resources business environment.
In addition to this new master’s program, Strayer University has also updated two existing programs by adding new concentrations.

More and more colleges and universities have begun to embrace technology and incorporate it into the classroom. From class scheduling to homework assignment submission, new technology is changing the way that schools handle most traditional aspects of the educational experience. At the most basic level, more teachers are embracing new tools, whether it’s an e-book or a podcast lecture for their courses. Even more so, students are using these tools to thrive in their educational environment.
