We recently let you know about Strayer University’s Virtual Commencement Ceremony, with a President’s Address from Strayer University’s President Dr. Sondra F. Stallard and Keynote Speech from Joe Gibbs, former Head Coach of the Washington Redskins and member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Here are a few more details regarding Strayer’s virtual commencement ceremony.
What is Virtual Commencement?
Virtual Commencement is a website dedicated to the graduation of our online students. It includes a unique online graduation experience, with a keynote speech, president’s speech, graduate profiles, online awards and a degree presentation.
Who can participate?
The virtual commencement is designed for Strayer University’s online students. If you have taken all of your classes online and are graduating soon, then this ceremony is for you.
Cool Features
Strayer University’s virtual commencement includes graduate profiles for all participants. These profiles allow you to add photos and personal trivia, like a favorite class or thoughts about graduating. Your friends or family can post notes of congratulations and encouragement, too.
We make it easy to share the news of your graduation on Facebook, LinkedIn, or Twitter, and by email or text message.
There is also a degree presentation, with traditional reading of names.
How can you sign up?
This year’s deadline has passed. But if you are graduating next year, you may choose to participate by registering for the virtual commencement ceremony in January. If you opt-in to take part, you must submit a photo and graduate profile. But be aware of deadlines; we don’t want anyone to miss out!
