Program Details
Please remember that while you get to learn during the CDLP, the program itself is a full time position with an annual salary. Participants will receive health benefits, 401k matching, and a 90% tuition discount at Strayer University.
Every year, two cohorts or groups, are selected to participate in the CDLP. One cohort begins in February while the second begins in late -July. Each cohort starts the program with an Orientation where they learn about Strayer University’s culture and procedures, as well as get a chance to interact with their fellow participants.
The 12 – 24 month CDLP provides experience in Admissions, Student Support, the Business office and management. Campus Directors in Training (CDITs) will rotate throughout these roles gaining in depth experience in each operation.
Who is an ideal candidate?
Strayer University is searching for the best and brightest. We only admit a small number of participants a year, so we expect certain qualities like leadership talent, intellectual horsepower, and humility.
They should also be ambitious, motivated, and energetic. Exceptional entrepreneurial and interpersonal skills are a bonus, along with a true passion for higher education. Finally, all applicants must possess a bachelor’s degree and have geographic mobility.
