The Evolution of Online Education
There is a major shift occurring in education. The need for convenient classes for adult learners, combined with an increase in students taking online courses, has changed the way that education is delivered to students. Convenience and flexibility are more important than anything, challenging the traditional educational experience.
According to an article by David R. Wetzel, the “traditional education” may not even exist anymore. He writes, “Adult learners want hybrid classes taught at night and on weekends, along with demanding an increase in online education opportunities”. Not only are these demands starting to be met, they are being met with less financial cost than traditional education.
Strayer University is, and has been, taking part in this evolution. We are proud to be a part of the changing style of education, allowing working adults to be the focus. See a list of academic programs near you.
